About YaffyTaffyArt

Hi there!
My name is Jessica Yafchak and I am a realism style multi-media artist based out of Syracuse, New York. I love to draw portraits and fun food dishes using primarily colored pencils, graphite, or acrylic paint, but I am constantly learning and exploring new mediums!
My work often incorporates bright saturated colors, glitter, and cute ephemera to create a maximalist composition that captures and holds the viewers attention. My main goal with making art is to inspire joy in the people that come across my work and provide a sense of whimsy and awe as they examine the intricacies and subtle details of each piece.
I graduated from Onondaga Community college with an A.A.S in graphic design in 2023 and currently work part-time as a PR Assistant and Circulation Clerk at a small public library. In my free time, you can often find me playing video games, hanging out with friends, crocheting, reading the latest romantasy novel, or jamming out to some K-Pop and Nu-Metal.
